This salad is so tasty, loaded with veggies, flavour and one of the latest superfoods- freekeh, it is delicious served as a warm salad, as a main meal topped with a protein or as a side dish to any main meal with steamed white fish or chicken.
Freekeh is a grain which is cooked similarly to rice but is a high source of fibre, good source of protein and low GI so the perfect carb to add to your diet. It has a slight nutty flavour which I absolutely love!! Cook according to instructions on the packet and enjoy as a carb to any meal :).
